It appears somebody took issue with this sign on Corfu directing people to their large freshwater lake (not a common feature in the Greek islands due to lack of rainfall).

When we visited this site on Naxos they appeared to be inserting some new stone in a few places - a ruin, but with one or two carefully placed modern additions to enhance the visitor experience.
